Lack of updates here?

I thought to myself... Its really true.

I lack commitment and passion. Just see how infrequent this blog is updated.

And since I also lack charisma, this blog might as well be forgotten if I had been aiming for people to read it (I did not bother to).

  1. Hey. I'm a SoC freshman. I find that your blog is really insightful, about the fact that getting good college grades doesn't equate to achieving desirable working opportunities. It's a harsh reality that you need to focus on one area in computer science, and do it well so as to be outstanding among your peers for employment or further studies purposes.

After reading your blog and some caveats regarding CM stream, I decided not to opt for it even though this is the last year they're offering it.

I feel that a degree, like you said, just open doors. What comes next depends on your performance and zeal during the job.

All the best in your job-hunting endeavours. Even though you said you didn't learn much in SoC, but I believe your respectable honours degree puts you in good stead. A second class uppers is very respectable; you just need to self-learn a few specialized skills (to pass the technical tests) that's all.
